current look:
yes, you do see 4 containers of cinnamon this is what lack of organization leads to: unnecessary multiples |
My inspiration came from Pretty Handy Girl. Her glazed technique on her own spice rack turned out amazing! I tried to copy her color as much as possible, but used a different aging technique with stain. Click Here for Pretty Handy Girl's tutorial.
What does one use whole mustard seed for?????
And no clue what Savory is and too lazy to google it.
These and 2 others never opened in the 6 years I've had this spice rack.
That's almost embarrassing to admit, almost. But I can't be the only one who never uses all the spices that came with the spice rack, right?
Transformation:
let the kids use a hammer to help ding this up |
wiped with Minwax Stain in Dark Walnut |
Ta - Dah!
This isn't sealed yet because I'm toying with the idea of adding script to the top. Inspired by this pic from Pinterest (source):
When I do seal it, I'll use polycrylic.
I am quite happy with the current results!
AND, now I have a spice rack with spices/seasonings I actually use!
Featured HERE.
so much better!!!

Hey Audra! Love the new look. It's always so suprising how just a little tweak to something makes it so much better and custom looking! Love it! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I followed and joined your site so I can keep up with what you're up to. :)
